Florida State University Chooses OnBase as Cornerstone of Modern, Adaptable Information Infrastructure

FSU teams with Hyland to implement a technology platform that streamlines administrative operations and improves the student experience

Florida State University (FSU) is implementing OnBase, an enterprise information platform for managing document content and related processes in order to create a future-ready technology infrastructure. In keeping with FSU’s strategic plan, OnBase provides enterprise scalability and robust information security to support academic functions, enhance communication, and bolster FSU’s commitment to student success.

FSU will initially implement OnBase for 16 campus units with the goal of offering a scalable service campus-wide. OnBase integrates with PeopleSoft to use electronic forms and workflows that eliminate paper forms processing, thereby speeding decision making while improving the staff and student experience.

FSU is deploying OnBase in the Hyland Cloud, which reduces the resources typically required for software upgrades and maintenance. Hyland’s security protocols and audits also help FSU meet data protection regulations. As a preeminent institution, FSU is converting to OnBase from Nolij Web to help accelerate digital transformation.

FSU joins more than 25 Hyland higher education customers in Florida as part of a strong regional network that shares unique challenges and visions for innovation.
